Fresh Start is a 7 month rehabilitation program geared to helping residents learn to deal with the roots of their addictions from a Christian perspective. Seeking to prepare students to not only walk through challenges, but also grow through them, believing that the answer lies in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ where old things are passed away and all things become new.
Grace Place is a local ministry that provides an opportunity for area churches to prepare and serve a hot meal to those in need. Grace Place accepts donated clothing and household items and canned goods for their pantry, which are distributed to the needy.
Life Choices began in 1979 out of Dr. Meade O’Boyle’s office as an alternative to abortion. Life Choices offers pregnancy tests and information in a caring and confidential environment. We provide you with information on your choices regarding an unplanned pregnancy. Life Choices also offers ultrasound, counseling,post abortive counseling and abstinence education. In addition, the HOPE program is designed for material assistance throughout the pregnancy and the first year of the baby’s life. All of our services are free of charge.

Family Church has partnered with the Department of Social Services, The Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, LA Foster and Adoptive Family Association and Fair Visions to provide Christian homes for foster children. We currently have a number of certified foster homes and numerous families who have completed classes and are now completing their home studies so they can open their homes to foster and adoptive children.

Mercy Ministries’ free-of-charge, voluntary, faith-based residential program serves young women from all socio-economic backgrounds ages 13-28, who face a combination of life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression and unplanned pregnancy, and the physically and sexually abused. Mercy Ministries exists to provide opportunities for these young women to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power.
